If you ever get a call from an Inspector from the Homicide Unit, don't panic.......unless you've killed someone. Thankfully, I have not, killed anyone or committed any felonies, that I know of.
Ran across this Banksy NO series today. Hadn't seen it before. Interesting stuff.

ABC: "Jamie Lynn Spears is showing some love to the latest-most-famous teen mom-to-be: Bristol Palin.
The 17-year-old “Zoey 101” star and new mom sent a gift of $60 pink burp cloths to the pregnant, unwed, 17-year-old daughter of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin -- and along with it, a message of teen mom solidarity.
A spokesperson for Petit Tresor, the Los Angeles baby boutique from which the gift was bought, told ABCNews.com that Spears included a card with the package that read “Dear Bristol, Hang in there! XXOO, Jamie Lynn Spears.”
The spokesperson confirmed the Plain Mary burp cloths (pictured below), a popular baby accessory among celeb parents, were ordered by phone on behalf of Spears."

My friend Dan found this on the street in Florida. Welcome To California.
Wow, this is awkward Sarah. You didn't even know what a VP did until you where chosen as the candidate. Foot.....in.....mouth. What does a VP do? Does this country really need more ignorance at the top? Maybe the Palin family would be better off staying in Alaska attempting to ban abortion and books. I can't wait for a debate where Biden states that he has known what it is that VP does for over 30 years, clearly making him the superior candidate. I'm going to try to avoid asking on tape what it is that a doctor does in the months leading up to my first job interview.
Update- comments should work with teamsugar account.
From the NYT:
"Shortly after becoming mayor, former city officials and Wasilla residents said, Ms. Palin approached the town librarian about the possibility of banning some books, though she never followed through and it was unclear which books or passages were in question.
Ann Kilkenny, a Democrat who said she attended every City Council meeting in Ms. Palin’s first year in office, said Ms. Palin brought up the idea of banning some books at one meeting. “They were somehow morally or socially objectionable to her,” Ms. Kilkenny said.
The librarian, Mary Ellen Emmons, pledged to “resist all efforts at censorship,” Ms. Kilkenny recalled. Ms. Palin fired Ms. Emmons shortly after taking office but changed course after residents made a strong show of support. Ms. Emmons, who left her job and Wasilla a couple of years later, declined to comment for this article."

FYI: apparently its impossible to comment without an onsugar account and they're not available until the official launch date (soon?). So I'll post comments in the post if you email me them.
Eric Says: Palin (kind of sounds like Palpatine , eh? Blatant Stars Wars ref there) is clearly out there. What’s scarier is that the moral conservatives are defending her despite her clear hypocrisy even in her own home. She pushed for and funded abstinence education yet welcomes and rallies around her daughter’s failure to understand the “no glove, no love” rule. Apparently IQ and foresight do not run high in that family. Admittedly, there is no other way to play it but I don’t entire respect Obama’s stance to keep family out of it. But what is most important here is that we have yet another public and, probably most highlighted example of hypocritical religious fervor that is striking similar to the Inquisition (remember that “holy men” could only speak to God thereby allowing them to persecute and/or defend as they see fit?). Well, at least no one is literally getting “The Question,” not yet anyway.
